Eucalyptus Soap Essential Oil Blends I have put together a few essential oil blends for eucalyptus soap: Grapefruit eucalyptus soap: 30 drops eucalyptus + 30 drops grapefruit. Lavender eucalyptus soap: 25 drops eucalyptus + 17 drops lavender. Lemon eucalyptus soap: 25 drops eucalyptus + 20 drops steam-distilled lemon.
Mix the essential oil with the water inside the spray bottle. (Increase the volume as desired, adding 15 drops of the essential oil per 2 oz. of distilled water.) Tightly close the spray bottle with the cap and swirl the mixture together to blend everything thoroughly.
Just like fragrance oils, it's important to use them properly. Each essential oil has a different usage rate, and depending on what you're making you'll need to use a different amount. If too much essential oil is used in a product, it can cause skin irritation.
When diluting essential oils with a carrier oil, it's important to follow these dilution guidelines. For adults: 2.5 percent dilution: 15 drops essential oil per 6 teaspoons carrier oil. 3 percent dilution: 20 drops essential oil per 6 teaspoons carrier oil.
Do not use undiluted essential oils on your skin. For facial applications such as masks or oils, a 1% or less dilution is recommended. For massages oils and other leave-on body products, we recommend a 2% dilution, and for other rinse-off bath and body products, we recommend 3%.
Lemongrass, geranium, lavender, rosemary are all examples of mid notes. Base notes are much heavier, tend to be woody or spicy but can include floral such as Ylang Ylang. These tend to be the longest lasting and can work very well in soap making especially when combined with some of the lighter notes.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil
To increase the longevity of the eucalyptus scent in your bathroom, you can lightly mist your eucalyptus to help it remain hydrated. To boost the eucalyptus scent even more, you can add a drop of eucalyptus essential oil to the mister or even add it directly to the leaves.
Eucalyptus Essential Oil
While eucalyptus needs moisture to live up to its potential, it doesn't like to be doused in water frequently. Coming into frequent contact with water will make your eucalyptus bundle lose its scent more quickly. You may also choose to take a different route of display with your eucalyptus.
